Thank you so much for everyone's response. I am going to request an audit, and will continue to apply for this cycle. I am hoping there's a mistake.
Anyhow I will give a break down of what my studying techniques are and sources I have used.
I began studying in February but lightly on the weekends. I knew that I needed to find a new technique for studying because the first time I took the exam I got an 18AA.
The first time I took the Kaplan course and used the Kaplan's big blue book. I didn't use anything else. And while it did provide a good background of information it wasn't sufficient enough.
This time:
Cliff Notes AP BIO: This was extremely helpful with in-depth detail about bio. Somethings went way into depth, but overall very useful. Read, highlight and take notes.
Chad's Videos: I watched orgo and general chem videos. EXTREMELY EXTREMELY helpful. He explains exactly what you need to know on the DAT. He also explains it so well and there were so many "ah ha" moments where everything seemed to click... and Im a chem major.... lol. Watch the videos, take notes, re-watch, take the quizzes. Additionally, I printed out all the outlines, the most useful was the summary of reactions for Orgo. I even watched some bio videos and 2 videos for math. All equally helpful.
DAT Destroyer!!!: Biggest life saver! After I watched all the videos, and read cliff notes book, I went through this book. And just like everyone on this awesome website suggests, it will "destroy" you. I went through the orgo and general chemistry sections 3 times and the bio section twice. I did about fifty problems from 2 sections everyday, sometimes 3 sections a day. The first round i kept getting 40-50%, second round 60-70% and finally got up to about 80%, yes its that hard. When going through this book do not just look at the answers. Read the answer, even if you got it right, and then write down a summary without looking.
I also used chad's orgo outline and wrote down and highlight reactions that were repetitive. They will surely appear on the exam.
Alan's Bio Notes: Print these out and read them as often as you can, before you go to bed, in between study sessions, whatever, they are extremely helpful. It concisely states everything you need to know.
The week before the exam, I watched Chad's videos on fast play which was a great way to review once more the basic concepts of mainly gen chem.
For the QR I bought DAT Math Destroyer... honestly I thought it was way over doing it. The QR section in the DAT destroyer is good enough... I know my score doesn't show it, but all the problems just reappeared. All the different types of problems where representative.
I used TopScore, to evaluate my studying:
Test 1: Test 2: Test 3:
Bio 18 Bio 17 Bio 16
GC 16 GC 18 GC 16
OC 17 OC 18 OC 19
TS 17 TS 18 TS 17
PAT 18 PAT 19 PAT 18
RC 20 RC 21 RC 21
QR 17 QR 16 QR 19
AA 17 AA 18 AA 18
Good luck on your exams, and I really have to thank this network for the parts I have succeeded in.
Let me know if there are any additional questions.
