Should I tell the podiatry schools i am applying to that i applied for optometry schools but then withdrew my applications because i fell in love with podiatry or is that a bad idea? I have a 3.7 GPA and took the OAT, so I was wondering if they would possibly grant me admission based on my OAT score rather than the MCAT. Thank you for any advice you may give.

always honesty. i would think they can find things out. i was told by one admissions person that they can tell when a pod student applys to allopathic schools. if your intentions are true, you should not have anything to worry about. also, call the admissions office about oat scores. if you do this part first, it is anonymous and will give you an idea of whether or not you have to take the MCAT. most likely you will have to, depending on where you apply.
