Will be starting first year of neurology in July, hoping some people can help with some questions.

1.) What level of neurology/neuroradiology will be expected for first year neurology residents? After 4th year of med school and prelim year of medicine, I feel like I knew more neuro during my m3 neurology rotations?

2.) LP's, I've only done 2 (with help). How worried should I be, I'm trying to get some more practice in before I start?

3.) With limited time left before we start in 1.5 months, what do you recommend reviewing, and what resources to do that reviewing?

Thanks

The sooner you know these the better.

As for neuroradiology, you should know the basics of CT scan and MRI (what's bright, what's dark, what sequences are more useful for particular pathology).

Don't worry about the LPs. When you have to get the fluid and you're the only one there in the middle of the night, you'll keep sticking them until you get it. And you'll get it. Because you have to.
