Hey, I was just curious after a professor writes you a letter of recommendation, what do you guys feel is appropriate to get them as a gesture of appreciation?
One of my professors is modifying a past LOR he wrote for me two years ago, and at that time, I sent him a thank you card and a box of chocolates. As he is tidying up some modifications to this current LOR, I'm not really sure what I should get him, or if anything is necessary. Also, I wasn't sure what to get another professor who's writing my second LOR (she is my PI in the lab). I feel really close to her and wasn't sure what to get her either.
Any suggestions/ideas would be great! Thanks in advance.
