I just got two professors to write me letters of recommendation. I told them that I would provide them with a draft of my personal statement, resume, transcripts, and a little bio/fact sheet about myself (since both of the professors were from very large lecture classes and dont know me that personally outside of office hours/lectures)
My question is, what sort of relevent info should I include in the bio? Obviously, I'm including why dentsitry, what I hope to accomplish as a dentist, path to dentistry. Should I include other personal info like where I grew up, my socioeconimc situation? My hobbies? My schools committe has a long questionaire that I had to fill out that has all sorts of personal questiosn about econonomic and social hardships, socioeconimc disadvantage, etc. Do my professors need to know this stuff too or should I keep it simple?
