What are you required to take to the test? Also, any suggestions what additional things to take.

Registration Ticket (just in case)
Snack
Study notes (for break if you want)
Ear plugs (although they usually have ear muffs provided)
Watch to make sure you are early

I brought my own but they wouldn't let me use them. You have to use the ones they give you for some god-for-saken reason.

I would bring ear plugs.. Its gets noisy in there with all the keyboards clicking..

You'll actually need two froms of ID, like a drivers license and a credit card. And bring snacks that you can eat super fast... Oh, and be sure that if you bring a sweater wrap it around your waist before hand. The administrator made me wrap it around my waist while I was in the middle of taking my pat section, talk about a concentration breaker! but it was no biggie... Good luck on your test!

Wear shoes and socks instead of sandles. I am always really distracted when my feet are cold.

here is one that i wish i knew before hand.. They only give you a limited amount of scrap paper.. Something like 4 pieces and you have to go out and ask the attendent if you want/need more. I also heard of people getting a dry erase board to use for calculations.

During the break DO NOT look at ANY notes. I heard of a girl that took a look at some notes during break and they ended up taking her test away!! I actually did something similar and the guy wanted to see what I was looking at during the break and told me he was watching me with the camearas during the break. I showed him after the test was over and he said it was all right. He also said it was obvious I didn't listen to the tutorial since it supposedly said in the tutorial that you are not supposed to look at notes I guess. To be honest, I never watched or listed to the tutorial. If you have any doubts, while on break, ask the person in charge to make sure that whataver you are doing is not outside the test-taking boundaries. Good luck to all of you!

I was told the same thing. You can't place anything on the back of your chair because they need to see you clearly. I was also told I could not stick my hands in my pockets and that everything I needed had to be in plain site on the the desk.

really, they made you wrap it around your waist? they told me i couldn't bring mine in unless I put it on and that if i did, i had to keep it on the whole time. They're very strict (for reasons, I guess)... they even told me not to touch my hair, which they asked me to tie back before I started.. 🙄

Ah yes, the guards of the testing chamber. Keep in mind that many of those balding ladies who watch over it are on the same wrung of the evoluntionary ladder as paving asphalt and slug bait. Good times, good times....
