Hi, i am going to take my test on wed.. what do i need to take with me.. did you guys eat during your breaks or what? Anything to eat that will calm your nerves or something.. thanks

Things I took with me: Bottle of water, Cliff bar to eat during break, ear plugs, and the required identification to sign in.

I took a few forms of ID. I didn't bring food because I'm not used to eating before 5 anyway. but I guess if you wanted to, you could.

good luck, Rana.

take 2 forms of ID, at least one with a picture on it. the test site provides you with pencils, scratch paper, and ear muffs. as for snacks, i ate a snickers bar during the break and drank half a can of red bull (i drank a red bull cuz i only got 30 minutes of sleep the night before the test)-- but yea, don't drink too much red bull because it contains caffeine and will act as a diuretic, and basically don't consume too much fluid because you cannot afford to go to the bathroom in the middle of the test. as for nerves, drinking a red bull will probably not calm them. however, i think it can be helpful to be a bit tense, because when ur adrenaline flows it can make you more alert throughout the test. good luck and i wish you well on the exam. 👍

According to some test taking guru I saw on Dr. Phil last week this is how you should prepare.
1) Do something in the A.M. or just before the test to get you blood flowing.
2) Eat hardboiled eggs and blueberries (both brain food) for breakfast.
3) have 1/2 cup of coffee w/ breakfast or in the car on your way there.
4) Bring a snack (high protein i.e. egg or protein bar etc.)
5) Bring 2 ID (one with photo both with sig)
6) ear plugs (center may provide them)
7) extra long sleeve shirt (may be cold in testing room)
Relax an kick butt!

what formulas do u speak of? I think with the 8 practice tests Ive done so far getting ready for OCt22, its a waste of time to write formulas for which u might only use 3. BUT, i guess since your doing it during the tutorial, it gets the blood flowing.. Good strat

DrTaco is correct. And many have said that. Things that don't normally happen can happen during DAT or any other high pressure circumstances. Use whatever available to you. I'm glad that I drew the 1s,2s,2p... diagram before I started.
