Some med school require pic upload... what type of pic they looking for? I have one that is pretty conservative but actually with a mohawk... it isn't obvious or anything like that but don't know if i show upload that pic

I would say, be as conservative as possible. You don't want the only thing they remember about you to be "that kid had a mohawk."

Have a recent one in interview attire against a neutral background.

I'd say use the same format they did for high school yearbook pictures, except wear a suit.

I just used a fraternity composite picture.

Every year, our Dean of Admissions tells thing to all the applicants on their interview day: "Congratulations, being here means you were smart enough to send in a picture that wasn't inappropriate, unprofessional, or weird."

Unless you are planning on showing up on your interview day with a mohawk, do not send in a picture with a mohawk. Your picture does not have to be professionally done at a studio (unless you already have one, then go ahead by all means use it). You can just stand up against a neutral wall wearing a collared shirt (if you're a guy) or a blouse (girl) and have someone snap a picture with a digital camera.

Try one like this:

If your a guy, think about rocking the 'stache in your application pictures. A big, fluffy fireman-type one...

I'm sure that will impress them...
