What would doctors like of their radiologists? The only criticism I hear is that radiologists are usually unavailable on weekends.
If you were to recommend a course of action to a radiologist to make him very well respected by his non-radiologist peers, what would it be? Would neurologists appreciate if, say, a neuroradiologist would spend time learning the clinical aspects of neurology? Would an orthopod prefer a MSK trained radiologist who would be well read on aspects of orthopedic surgery?
When a clinician writes a script for a CXR or an MRI, it can be filled at any imaging center/hospital.
Do some (or would some) clinicians specify that the reading had to be done by a Neuroradiology fellowship-trained radiologist?
Do some clinicians that a reading done by a specific radiologist they are comfortable with?
Thanks
Rex
