I am planning on taking the MCAT this April. I am currently taking 15 credits. 5 classes.. I was wondering if I should drop one of my classes to spend more time for the MCAT. Two of the five classes are science. If you recommend just taking 12, should I drop a science course or a gen ed (both are almost as much time consuming). Or will it be "impressive" or better if I sticked to 15 and studied hard for the MCAT? THANKS A BUNCH

If you feel that you can do better on the MCAT if you have one less class, drop a class. The MCAT is something you don't want to comprimise.

There is no impressive. If you can't find the time to study for the MCAT then drop something. If you have no time because you spend too much time on SDN, then stop it and study for the MCAT.

thanks! I do have time to study, but I could use some more to do more problems practice, etc.. just trying to weight the pros and cons?

guess what the adcom cares about.... YOUR SCORE! Believe me they won't even notice how many credits you were taking at the time of the MCAT unless it puts you below fulltime student status.
