Hello... I have recently posted many thread and hopefully this will be my last thread to ask! 🙂
Im just in a serious dilemma right now.
So far I interviewed with Presbyterian college of pharmacy, Albany VT, and UNE pharmacy.
I got rejected by Presbyterian and UNE and ranked 4th in waiting list on Albany.
Now. I got interview invites from Regis University (3/30) and PCOM (4/14).
I would like go to both of them, but airplane ticket fees, school work are some of my concerns whether I should go or not.
After getting rejection from two previous colleges of pharmacy, I doubt myself too much saying to myself that I won't get in even if I go to Regis and PCOM, but yet again I cannot let it go.
I was going to wait for Albany because ppl have been saying that ranked 4th on waitinglist is a very high chance. But I am so worried all the time!!

So my question is..
what would you guys do?

I would go. You can burrow money from your parents or relatives for the expense. As for the classes, ask a classmate to get notes for you. You will end up spending more if you didnt get in this cycle. Best luck to you.

I was rejected from my first interview, wait listed at my second, and got accepted at my third. I think it was my low pcat score that didn't get me into the first two but I didn't let it get me down. It was good experience and practice for my third interview. I think it would be worth a shot to at least try getting into the other schools.

I would definitely go. It will increase your chances of getting into a school if for any reason the waitlist doesn't move. It's better to try and know you did than to maybe regret it later. 🙂 Good luck!

what are the schools that you applied?

Midwestern Arizona - denied
University of Oklahoma - wait listed
Chicago State University - accepted
University of Montana - interviewed, hoping to get acceptance on Monday :xf:
University of Houston - never heard back from
University of Pittsburgh - never heard back from

First, unless you're completely happy with the school you're accepted to, go to the other interviews! I completely understand money can be tight. Compared to the investment, a plane ticket is cheap.

Second, follow up with the schools you listed as "never heard back from." Call them. You paid money to apply, you're not bothering them.
