well I have a bit of a dilemma. I have been accepted to kirksville and lecom-fl. I have decided that kirksville is the better choice bettween the two. But the real question is i have an interview at pcom-ga and was wondering whether one should pick pcom-ga over kirksville if they are a ga resident. I sometimes feel kirksville is to far and that a D.O. is a D.O. and that who cares where you get it from. so i cannot decide what to do.

Make sure you check the deadlines for sending in the deposits to reserving your seat...I would just go to GaPCOM..see if you like the school..and go from there..If you plan on being a PCP (primary care physician) than its pretty much true that it wont really make a diff if you go to KCOM or GaPCOM...so it all depends on your needs..

my recommendation is go where you are most comfortable..and hopefully you fall in love with a school

All I can say is that I went to the undergrad school that people think is the least noteworthy, but i don't regret it at all. You're the one that determines your success in the future I believe, more so than the name of your school. Go to the school you're most comfortable at, because it will probably give you the greatest chance to do your best.

I would pick PCOM-GA for it's location. I don't think I can handle living in Kirksville.

Kirskville is more well established, which has many benefits, but I'd never ever live in a place like Kirksville.

You should make the list of the pros and cons of each school to make your decision.
