Hey folks, I'm a fourth year medical student who worked as a psychologist for a number of years before entering medical training. The program from which I earned my doctorate has asked me to do a series of presentations for their students who are interested in "health psych", or who want to work/collaborate in medical settings. I have a list of high-yield topics. But I am interested to know what sorts of things you might want if you could get inside information on day-to-day functioning in medicine.

Here's my list:
- Clinical Psychology as a "specialty"
- Primary vs tertiary care and the difference in roles for psychologists
- Common frustrations arising from a psych.* consult
- Clinical areas in which psychology could have a huge and immediate impact
- Things you should know well because MD's don't....
- General insight into the stereotyped personality divide b/n medicine and psychology
- Tips to maximize your pharmacological understanding in nonRxP areas
I appreciate you input
