What's a SAR?

I have no idea what this is. I did my FAFSA online, and they talk about it, but don't really say what it is. What is the purpose of the SAR? Anyone?

SAR is short for Student Aid Report. You can access your SAR by going to the same page that you used to do your online FAFSA. Correct me if I am wrong, but the purpose of a SAR is to show you what you put on the FAFSA and also for checking and/or correction purposes (i.e. if you see something on your SAR that is not right, you can correct the information on your FAFSA).
