Its not a bad sign if you haven't heard from them. They are still inviting for interviews. I think they hold off on rejections til the end tho. So if you are ultimately going to be rejected you won't know til much later. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I got my invite like feb of last year, and I think they were still asking up until march, so you have plenty of time. I'd estimate they have only interviewed about 45% of the applicants so far.

i've tried calling usc, but i have to admit that of all the medical schools that i have applied to and have followed up on, usc is the least responsive to my questions, and really seem indifferent and vague about student concerns...that may just be my understanding though

On the contrary, USC seems really concerned about students' concerns. I think the curriculum was changed because of students' opinions. But you're right...if you aren't a student there then don't expect much info from their admissions office. All they can tell you is that you are still under review.

It definately is an absolutely great curriculum. If anything, I would say that we are pampered here as medical students. (i.e., get our own desks with ethernet access, tons of mentors, feedback from tests immidiately with explainations about why they deleted certain questions if we complain, etc)
