whats kaplan all about?

so i'm taking kaplan full length practice test 11 and the questions blow me out the room....they ask stuff u probably wouldn't need to know for a phD in the relative subjects (i got probabaly 6 outta every 9 questions wrong)...

then i take aamc 6R and it looks like cake in comparison....are kaplan tests reflective of the how hard or easy mcat exams are?

Are you talking about Physical Science? Their PS is notoriously hard but the scale should make up for it.

yes, their PS is known to be very difficult and more equation based.

on the real thing it'll be less equations and more concepts

yeah kaplan isnt really indicative mainly b/c its hard to finish(the ps section) so it favors ppl who skip questions. I was scoring 11's on all my prac. and got a 13 on the real thing. i finished with time to spare...that never ever happened on the kaps.

When you took practice test 11, did it give you a score? If not, then it is probably just a exam to test out future problems. When I took my kaplan course, practice exams 10 and 11 had ****onmyface hard questions and I never recieved a score for them.
