Beyond the obvious, which is to improve your score, I would recommend that you gain some experience shadowing/volunteering, take some courses that you will enjoy or matter to you, travel - heck, the sky is wide open. Best of luck!

did you practice at all beforehand? I know it took me like 4 times as long as the given time to even finish the test the first time i practiced, but after around 6 practice tests you definitly learn what you have to do to get through it to the best of your ability.. i.e. if you don't know how to do the problem immediately, pick an answer, mark the question, and go on and come back to it if you have time. keep in mind everyone that takes the test has the same time limit to deal with, and the scores are also scaled. so you really can't blame time for your low score.

so im gonna retake my DAT next march 2005 , but i dont know what step should i do next to be in in the dental school by next year ( august 2005 ) ,

march 2005 is too late to retake the DAT for entry into the august 2005 class. I am not sure if you realize that the application deadlines for entry into that class are in about a month for most schools. even if you retook the dat and applied within the next month, you would be very late and in my opinion unlikely to secure a spot with your grades and DAT. If I was you I would start practicing for the DAT, retake it in march 2005 like you were going to, and apply in May for the August 2006 incoming class. That way you can apply early and you'll have plenty of time to take your time and do a good job on your application.

is ur 12 referring to PAT? or the overall score?
i highly recommend kaplan review(if u have the xtra bucks, take the course)
and i heard topscore is another good tool.
from barron's review book, there is a section that tackle the PAT section.(otherwise, that book is quite useless)

and then, just study hard. and good luck

thanx alot u guys 4 these info........ 🙂 👍 😉
