i always thought it was the schools sending you escargot with their decision. Rotten escargot with rejects, succulent with interviews/acceptances

[tinman831]

It's mail delivered by the postal service. *honest answer*

[NJDental]

Oh, man, had to try hard not to bust out laughing here at work! Rotten escargot for rejections. . .hahaha

[phraud]

Are people seriously making fun of someone because they don't know what snail mail is? You know, there are people out there that don't spend most of their lives on the computer (sadly, I spend too much time on the computer).

"omg, r u serious? u are such a n00b! u just got pwned! ROFL!"

[jeca1020]

yet another reason people can make fun of new jersey...lovely.

[NJDental]

thanks phraud....i think it was a valid question, and no i don't spend all my time on SDN thats why i didnt know it....

and jeco1020 you obviously love us jersey people because YOU APPLIED to UMDNJ......end of comment.

have a lovely day SDNers 🙂

Snail mail isn't a term reserved for SDN and if you thought about it for 2 seconds you probably could have figured it out...that is why the thread was so funny

[Khala Jaan]

guys, dont let your hindsite 20/20 bias get the best of you...now, it may appear obvious, but at one pt or another you didnt know a lot of phrases...thats wat this forum is for, rite? to ask questions and ask for advice.

[Regmata]

yeah, the forum is here to ask good questions 😛

[SHC1984]

Maybe the person is from another country and doesn't speak English very well...so it's not that obvious to them.

I think it's a valid question. Kind of funny..but not in a mean way.

Then it would still be funny, just a different kind of funny
