hey guys... i'm just wondering which book you're using for general chem and math to prepare for the dat?🙂
I need a book with mainly questions and answers. Not so much the learning material...

There are many posts on this topic you can do a search and read up on it. Kaplan is usually where people start for the basics but its just that. How comfortable are you at this point? If you are you should try destroyer. Its exactly what you say you want --a book of questions. There are detailed answers that explain too so you learn along the way.

I tried this book and didn't like it. IMO, the questions aren't representative of what you'd see on the DAT.

I used an AP Chem book and Destroyer for GChem and I felt they both went into just the right amount of detail. Just keep in mind that the calculations in the Destroyer can sometimes be a little involved.

i totally agree with you, i just like it because i at least learn the concepts really well that way i can apply them to the DAT. if you can understand the formulas used, then answering questions that acutally ask you to use them would be a walk in the park. just my opinion though 🙂

i like the destroyer it covers all the topics and explains the abswers to you with enough detail to ensure that you know the material but not to much so that you are overwelmed.
