In my case I read read and read. Also made flash cards and I think as I write I memorize some of it and as I return and study I remember more

People do not typically take this test until the end of their junior year and after all prereqs are finished. If you haven't figured out what works best for you by now then good luck studying for the DAT cause it is all about maximizing your time management. Plus the typical response you are going to receive on this question is a pretty standard "Everybody learns differently, you have to figure out what works for you" answer.

I'm taking a year off. I just graduated college and I have to take the test this summer instead of last summer because of personal issues that I had to deal with, with school transfor and moving across the entire country from NY to AZ and back to NY, which is why i started taking my Pre-reqs a little late.

I guess im gonna make a ton of flash cards for each chapter! Im pretty good in science i have a 3.5science GPA and it would of been a lot higher if it wasnt for chemistry lol i HATE chemistry.

I think flashcards are a huge waste of time.. It's all about repetition, of course, but you don't want to spend half your time just MAKING your study tool. Take well-organized notes, and then keep looking at them. Over and over again. When you wake up, right before you take a practice test, and before you go to sleep. This will save you a lot of time, and provide you with more time to study the material.
If you do choose to make flashcards, the most efficient way is to use the ANKI software. There are a bunch of youtube videos that the site provides that help you to take advantage of all of the different tools the software provides. I tried ANKI, and liked the software, but felt I was wasting too much time making the cards when I could have been looking at material.

i agree, flash card dosnt work for me as well
just keep reading reading reading and practice using them by doing practice problems

Thanks alot guys! I'll work on my notes more than, I found some flashcard quizzes that are awesome that ill use to quiz myself, thier based on each chapter from the KBB.

This forum is great, looking forward to posting my scores in a couple months!
