I have been "pending" for a long time. My materials were all received on 10/27 and the service STILL hasn't sent my stuff out. How long is this supposed to take?! 😡
Time is of the essence and all I can get from the phone calls to them is "4-6 weeks, sir..." 😡

No advice, just sympathy. I know it's frustrating waiting on someone else. You have all your stuff together and someone else is holding up your stuff.

In the mean time, get your letters of recommendation together. Maybe have them sent to the schools you're going to apply to. Also, have some secondary essays ready to go out. Look at the schools' web sites and see if a secondary is available online so you can fill it out.

Which schools did you apply to? Do a search on SDN and you may find some essay questions we have posted for those trying to get a jump start on schools with a paper secondary or a password protected one. Have then all typed out and ready to go.

At least it will keep you busy while you're waiting.

Seriously, everyone I know (myself included) had to call them to get the status updated.

So call them asap.
