are you implying that TN residents aren't able to do as well as the rest of the applicant pool? MCG only accepts GA residents and their scores aren't low at all..in fact i wish they were cuz then i might have a shot at getting accepted! anyway it's like phosphorylation says, they pretty much only accept minorities..ie they are a historically black college like Howard
