I know posters require one of those big posters but can list a "presentation" if they presented their research during class or at a club meeting or something?

Poster and oral presentations imply presentations at a research conference where approval for presentation depends on the quality and novelty of your research. Presentation opportunities are often competitive.

One can have a poster presentation at like the research symposium day the school hosts.

Seems like you are just confused/playing around with words. A poster "presentation" or oral/podium "presentation" is just that--a presentation of your work. Plenary/keynote presentations are the competitive ones.

Yes, but those are not very impressive compared to a poster presentation at AACR, for example.
