My testing center isn't giving me any info, and I take the exam on Tuesday.

Do you still only get 2 TOTAL sheets for the entire DAT? Someone who has already taken it this year please let me in on what's going on!

Still permanent marker only? Can you ask for new sheets?

Permanent marker is given along with two white boards (which is just a laminated graph paper style) half of one side is taken up by text.

They cannot be erased.

If you need more raise your hand and ask.
I believe that could be a slowwww process depending on your Testing center.

But let's be real you don't need much writing for the sciences except maybe a few gen Chem and Ochem problems. And PAT only takes up like half a page.

Then you have a break and can get new ones.

Reading you need none leaving you front and back of two for QR.

Thank you! I guess I should put away my little erasable white board and practice writing small with a pen on paper to simulate the real thing.

Okay this is going to sound so gross (sorry!!!) but I used my spit to erase the sheets. It really helped me because I tend to write a lot and pretty big. Also, they came up to me during my break and gave me two new sheets. I didn't even raise my hand. But that might be different for every testing center so I wouldn't bank on that. If for some reason you're panicking though, just use your spit haha. Sorry again for being gross, but we all freak out and just do things spur of the moment. Hope this helps!

You'll get two laminated sheets that look like this, except they say Prometric on them, along with two non-eraseable markers (although as dentalgirl5 pointed out, they're susceptible to saliva).

The markers dry out REALLY fast. Make sure you keep the cap on all the time. Even though I did, I think the markers they gave me started at about 50% ink so by the end of PAT I had to press really hard to get some ink out. They let you exchange during your break or I guess if you raise your hand

Great advice DentalGirl....May be gross as you said, but it worked. Nice of you to share might help a student as silly as it may sound, when under pressure you have to resort to drastic measures..😀
