what's the worst case scenario (financially) for the future of our beloved specialty? if nurses are somehow able to weasle the right to practice independently, how would the job prospects change for anesthesiologists? how much money would we be looking at and for how many hours of work?

i'm just curious how bad this CRNA nonsense can affect my ability to make a living doing what i enjoy. i personally believe that the worst effect of an "independent CRNA" will be the decline in patient care. but that is a whole other thread.
