I'm thinking specifically of Saint Louis U. and Jefferson. They were some of the first secondaries I sent in, around the first of August. I know they received them because they cashed my checks. I've heard something from virtually every other school, except for the ones whose secondaries I completed kind of late. Does anyone know what's up with these two schools?

I didn't send my Jefferson secondary but they've solicited me for the secondary fee on at least a couple occasions via email. As far as SLU, they were utterly silent until a "complete postcard" last week.

i applied to a good number of schools. i have heard from about 1/4 of them. oh well. as long as you hear from schools you want to go to then i guess it is okay. i haven't heard from alot of schools but since i got accepted at one good school, i don't have to care about those other ones that haven't offered me anything or rejected me. so think of it like that maybe. then perhaps the money thing won't hurt that much. heheheee

Well then maybe my SLU postcard's on the way. I just got one from MCPHahnemann yesterday. Interesting that Jefferson finds the time to e-mail you (twice!) soliciting your money, but can't acknowledge my completed application! 😡

Congrats on your acceptance! 😀 Which school? Are you withdrawing your other applications?

SMW,

When did you submit your MCP-Hahnemann secondary? I submitted mine on September 4 and have yet to hear anything.

Uh, yeah - Northwestern. They finally cashed my check two weeks ago so I KNOW they opened my envelope, but do they have the courtesy to let me know ANYTHING on the status check? Nope, just an apology for the "convenience" that it has caused me.
Humph!

I mailed it on 9/27, they received it on 10/3, and they cashed my check on 10/15. Hmmmmm. I just looked at my copy of the secondary, and it's dated 9/6. Have absolutely no idea why I waited so long to send it -- it's all becoming a big blur!

SMW,
I sent in my Jefferson secondary at the beginning of August (from what I remember at least), and still haven't heard from them... I'm not stressed 'bout that, but I thought it would help you to know that others are in the same boat!
best of luck,
🙂

Nada from Jefferson. I'm sure there are many in the same boat.

Wait til all the decisions pour in. Believe it or not, some schools don't even have the decency to mail a formal rejection letter. They just leave you hanging! At least this is what happened to me last year.

Ok, elle, and SWampMan, I'll try to stop obsessing! 😉 I hate loose ends, though! 🙁
