What's your take on Case Files-OBGYN for step 2 CK exam?

Would UW and Case Files for OBGYN be sufficient enough to get most OBGYN qs correct on the CK exam? Anyone?

Definitely. I think UW alone would allow you to correctly answer most of the questions as it is quite comprehensive in the subject. Case Files may be too excessive unless you are very weak in this subject; it works well as a reference though.

In my opinion, CF for OB/GYN should only be used if you haven't had your clerkship for some reason. It is way overboard for CK and World + Secrets should cover you nicely.

I would recommend using CF for review, and with UWorld, that should be sufficient. I did my OB/Gyn rotation early on in the M3 year and found CF to be a fairly high yield. OB had been a weakness during my Step 2 study and it turned out to be one of my highest scoring sections on the real deal.

Thanks for the suggestions. I started CF and like it so far, but I agree ..it does seem a little overboard, but probably good for quickly reinforcing UW concepts. Will probably try to check out only the cases (areas) I'm weak at. Thanks again.
