Are schools taking a break from reviewing applications now? What is going on? I don't see a lot of activity...

I think that for the most part we're in the zone of the application process where dental schools are waiting to hear back from those students who chose not to attend their school after the first wave of acceptances before they send out more invites. This most certainly doesn't apply to all schools as I'm sure you'll still "hear" or hopefully "see" interview invites throughout the next month/month & a half, but I'm sure that many already have or have already started sorting out their first wave of acceptances. No need to worry though. Lots of schools interview in the winter.

Yeah, I submitted my aadsas back in May and my secondaries in July. I thought i wasn't going to hear back from any more schools, but in a period of 2 business days, i received four interview invitations. The last of the four came in today. Never fear!!

I agree with that hypothesis. I think the majority have carried out the bulk of their pre-dec interviews and we won't be hearing from them until mid-late december or sometime january. Sadening =( Oh well, maybe I will finally put my mind to rest and stop being obsessed with what time the mail ladies are going to drive by today ...
