So my first one will be done in a few weeks but my second EM rotation does not end until mid october, will this be too late to get a SLOE?

No due date. The earlier the better, but you can keep updating your file during the application cycle.
Programs will get the updates. You may need to prompt some places to look at your file again if there are new letters.
Some programs will not look at your application until you have a minimum number of letters.
They get so many applications that they generally only want to look at each one once.

I would like to bring this up again as I am in a similar situation.
I have a "regular" letter that I can send in on Sept 15, but am still waiting on a SLOE that will hopefully come in a week later. Do you think this will hurt me?
Also, I will hopefully be getting two more SLOEs, one in the end of October and one in the end Nov. Does this too put me at a big disadvantage?
Should I go ahead and try to put more "regular" LOR so that my application is completed earlier?
Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
