when are you guys sending in the supplemental fee?

SOOooOo..my gpa got verified about couple days ago. Just wondering if it's still going to take 4-8 weeks. Anyway. When should you be sending in the supplemental fee???!! now? or can i take my time?

For any school that requested supplemental fees to come along with the application, I sent them as soon as I submitted last year. I figured there was no point in waiting.
However, make sure you keep a list of where you have and have not sent checks to, because I can assure you, there will be at least one school that will ask you for a check after you've already sent one and they've already deposited it. (This sort of thing is resolved with a simple phone call and a fax of the front and back of the deposited check).

yeah, it depends on the school. Some want them sent when you submit AADSAS, some want you to wait until they request it. Look up each schools policy on the AADSAS website I think it is and go from there!

Should we just send the supplemental fees to the address that is listed on the adea website that tells you whether the schools want the additional fees or not and when they want them sent?

Also, I'm thinking some places might takes checks while others might want money orders. Does anyone know how we can find this information or should I just call the schools?

be sure to check each school's website for the specific address and "make checks payable to" info. you can usually find it on the "application procedures" section of each website. i've found that the address some schools want you to send the checks to, as well as the name they want you to make the checks payable to aren't always what's listed on the aadsas supplemental info section.

and btw -- OUCH!! i just made out the checks for all of the schools i applied to that want their fees at the same time as the aadsas application.

a few weeks back, i thought it'd be interesting to keep a spreadsheet of all of my application costs. but now i'm thinking it would just hurt too much to tally up those numbers.

For Michigan, it says we should send in official transcripts at the same time we submit AADSAS...so even though AADSAS will verify all of our info with our transcripts they still want us to send transcripts to them?

for 33 schools and instant secondaries, its going to be around 3,000 plus dat scores another 800 or so. i might cut down the list a bit though. it should shave a couple hundred off

I think for the supplemental fee almost every school will take a check. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong here). But as someone else previously mentioned, you should check each school's website for the specifics.
