I have two (beside research, I don't really want to use research because I mentioned it in my PS already....)

1. a volunteer of mine got dateraped, she didn't want to tell her parents or the cops for she feared that her mum was going to kill her. I had to comfort her and consult her. It was a moral dilemma. I knew who the guy was and I was furious about the whole situation but I still respected her privacy and decision.

2. during the UN internship working on a conference on cancer, we had basically no response from the general population (basically those who responded to our ads were those who actually work in the field). I find it very difficult to bring out the awareness of the epidemic (especially given the stupid instructions from the head organizer regarding the focus of the conference, basically the focus was given to our biggest sponsor, which is kind of BS). Most people just don't seem to care. According to the volunteers who were doing surveys. only those who actually have relatives with cancer might care about the disease. Anyway, the head organizer was furious with the low response from non-medically related people and she actually yelled at the volunteers (seriously, it wasn't their faults), so I had to confront her everytime when she was literally being a bitch. It wasn't an easy thing to do to confront someone who has worked at the UN for so many years and has so many connections....

both seem pretty stupid too me..almost comic, i would make up some new ones

ya the 2nd one is, everything involving the head was stupid. One day when the head lost her receipt for some prints and she forgot where the volunteer (whom she fired) had gotten the prints, so she ordered two volunteers to walk down from 24th street to 13th street between 2nd and 10th Ave to ask every printing service whether they have done the printings for us..........

ps:
wait until one of your friends gets date-raped, then you tell me that it's comic

first one. ignore that dude.

I would be cautious using the first one, because it was more of a challenging experience for your friend. I'll send you a PM with my own experience answering this question.
