As I recall from last year, some schools make decisions quite early. NYU had all its interviews done & offers were out by Christmas. Some other schools will drag it out to Feb/Mar/April. Go to mdapplicants.com and search on "admitted", 2006 and the school you are most interested in and you'll get some data on offer dates.

My first offer came a few days before Thanksgiving from Cincinnati (I had interviewed a week before....don't expect that kind of turn-around time though, because that was insanely fast). My best offer came mid June, when the phone rang 🙂
