When do enantiomers form? (Chad's notes)

I'm having problem understanding when do enantiomers form based on the alkene reactions in Chad's notes.

For example, in some reactions I noticed that Hydroboration- Oxidation forms enantiomers, while sometimes this reagent just yields one product.

Feralis is rockin it !!! Indeed so.....after you get the product,,,,,,simply check to see if any chiral centers were created...If so......you must decide if a racemic mixture was created or perhaps a meso compound.
