When do most med schools start?

I don't know when or where (or if...) I'll be going to med school but I need to make some arrangements for next summer. Roughly when do orientations for new students begin? I'm especially interested in NY area schools.

I think you should check school websites, some start early some start late it depends

here's a link with a PDF file of all orientation dates for most of the medical schools. it's from 2003, but the dates don't change too much, give or take a couple of days.
