When do schools give out secondaries?

I was just wondering when do medical schools start giving out secondaries? I have heard no schools give secondaries out till July at earliest. Is that true or is it possible to get them earlier?

It's school-dependent. Some schools, such as BU, will send out their secondary as soon as they receive word from AMCAS that you submitted your primary. Others, such as Drexel, send out their secondary in batches and depending on when you get verified, it could be several weeks to months before you receive it. However, I think July is about the earliest one could expect a secondary from most schools.

The earliest that AAMC sends out AMCAS is mid-june, this past summer I was in the first batch and I got my first secondary during the third week of june, most of them were available by early july.
