howdy all.. got a question.. i sent in my aadsas june 30. when, and most importantly HOW, do i find out that they have processed my application and sent it to schools? Is first confirmation when i receive their confirmation packet? Or can i go to the applicant website, and it will show up on the message box that my app has been processed? thx for any replies.

i started to get postcards and emails asking for money from the schools. Thats what told me that the schools got the app. i also called aadsas and made sure they did send the mailing out and that mine was definately in the mailing, and after 3 days exactly the schools had them...i even called a couple of them just for my own piece of mind...so umm, yeah, theres a million ways to check to see if the schools have the app or not...best of luck...

I'm not sure if Infosource is up and running for your class yet. it will tell you which date your application is mailed. Otherwise, if you call, then you can find out what date it was/will be mailed.

Remember, some schools will not begin to process applications until their incoming class has smoothly matriculated (begun their program). Therefore, your application may not be acknowledged until late-August, early-September. I was told that applications would be processed in the order of receipt and that completed applications (supplemental documents submitted) would receive some sort of action.

Also, not all dental schools participate in infosource. Therefore, you should contact the schools that do not in order to verify completion/status of your app! 🙂
