Whenever I get a wiggers diagram, I just wanted to clarify some points. According to EK Bio (a passage), ventricular systole begins after isovolumic contraction so basically as EDVolume starts to decrease; but my physio text spans that area as the beginning of systole (aka on the EKG that would start at the peak of the EKG).
Similarly, when does ventricular diastole begin (does it start with isovolumic relaxation or aka right after the T wave on the EKG)?
Thanks
