HI guys, thanks for great advices. i just finished my junior year. i dont know my GPAs since i have a hold on my records. but i have :

bio= A, B+
gen chem= A, A
Orgo= C,C+ 😡
physics= B, B+

i want to take DAT at the end of summer, is it too late? do i need to wait another year? and are those c's gonna give me a hard time? because i have heard, dental schools care alot about orgo. 😀 😡 . one more thing, i transferred from a community college to rutgers university (nj). is that bad? thanks alot.

Arash Jaan,

Take DAT as soon as possible and do well on the Orgo section, which is a striaght forward section. You can easily get above 90% if you study for O-chem, not tricky questions. Take the Kaplan class if you can and make sure you understand all the practice tests. So take it soon and do well.

Arash, I don't think your scores would keep you out of dental school, as long as you can prove you can handle the O chem on the DAT...study hard for it, and try to take it before the end of august to say the least...the sooner the better...best of luck...
