When is the DAT offered???

It's offered pretty much any day of the year (except Christmas I think). There's different testing centers all over the place so it depends on where you're from. 🙂

you can schedule the test online. Normally, I would schedule it 3~4 weeks in advance. You can select the time you want to take it as well.

The beauty of this test is that its done on the copmuter at a prometric center and YOU get to choose the day and sometimes time. Plus you get your results right away and soon as you clic submit on the last question!!!
Here are the steps to sign up for the DAT: As far as I remember, you first apply on the ADA website:

Once you do this part read this:

ADA will send you the 800-number and your confirmation # and then you call up the prometric center near you and schedule a test date.

oh, right, you have to apply for it first through ADA. After they send you a confirmation letter, you can just sign up for a test date online. You can call them if you want, but online is easier in terms of finding what time slots are available etc.
Remember that you need to give at least 2 business days notice to change your appointment or you lose your $!!
