when is "too late" to take the DAT if submitting now?

Wondering when is "too late" to take the DAT if submitting now? Don't feel ready to take it until the end of July most likely

you are ok until like mid to late August. I'm planning on mid August, might push it back though because im not feeling prepared. The important thing is to take it when you feel prepared, if pushing it back to early October means gettitng like a 25 AA then that is better than an 18 AA in july. Some classic SDN folks would probably tell you you should have used your time in the womb more wisely and took the DAT then. Take everyone's advice with a grain of salt.
