They want you to demonstrate a familiarity with their program and what makes it a particularly good fit for you. Pay attention to their mission, their curriculum, the school's location and affiliations, etc.

Dig around, use google creatively. If you go off just the website (superficially), you might not come off as knowing the program. Youtube can be really helpful. Look up the dean. Look for alumni newsletters. Align your app/experience with the program.

And in your interview, don't say "because I'm hard-working." That sucks.

Read past topics on SDN about each school and interview feedback pages, many people will post their interview experiences and what they like/didn't like about the school.

and I know you can only be licensed in certain areas based on schools and the licensure exam, is that fair to mention ?

More so the licensing exam rather than the school, you can always take another regional exam/meet another state's requirements and practice in an entirely different place.
