Hey all, like many I'm still waiting on hearing from a few schools (pre-interview). Based on a thread that I just bumped up, it seems like a few schools have already stopped giving interview invites:
Baylor
Columbia
Emory
GW
NYU
Texas Schools
UPenn

Are there other schools that you know of that have definitely stopped sending invites? I only ask because a few of the schools that have been dragging me out (i.e., Cornell, BU and OSU) stop interviewing in March. I would feel crappy 🙁 (but at least the waiting would be over) if I knew to expect the rejection letter earlier than actually getting it. Now, I know some few lucky people out there will get invites a week or even a few days before an interview, so (early) congrats to you guys. For the rest of us, maybe some of the stress would diminish if we knew that schools were definitely done giving out their bulk offers of interviews, or at least knew when they last offer them. Thanks in advance! 🙂

Are you sure GW is finished? My friend got a call from them last year in March to come interview the next day. Granted, we were in Baltimore, so the request wasn't that extreme, but I thought they interviewed up until the end of March.

I don't think schools in general know at this point and I definitely would not trust what a single person at the school told you. Wait for the invite/rejection letter.

Add Harvard, Northwestern (don't quote me on that one) to that list.

As I posted before, GW has not stopped requesting interviews. They do have a few spots available and will be interviewing through March.
