A few secondaries ask what are your plans for the 2012-2013 year, if in school list your courses..... Are the courses we list here binding? I don't exactly know what classes I am taking this year, but I have a rough plan. I'm not sure what to list for these questions.

I pretty much know my schedule for Fall (just one course might change depending on scheduling), but for the Spring I am not sure exactly what courses are being offered at my school, what times, etc. If I list 5 courses and end up having to take 3-4 different courses than the ones I listed and still remain a full-time student, would it be an issue? Should I just phrase it as "I plan to take..."

On the primary it said the classes are non-binding so I listed my tentative plan for courses and I don't want to list different courses on the secondary than I listed on the primary.

It's not binding, but if reality differs significantly (you give a full course load, but only take 3 credits) from your plans, expect to be dropped after being offered a spot in the class. Use common sense and you'll be fine.

Medical school is only one part on your path to become a doctor. Hurley7, it seems like that you didn't even finish first year, which probably took place in a classroom. If I heard this caveat from a veteran doctor who quit after many years of practice, then it'll hold more validity. Plus I don't think there are that many "fence-sitters" on SDN.

As long as you make a good faith effort you'll be fine. Schools don't expect you to be a fortune teller. Just don't blatantly lie and you'll have nothing to worry about.

ADCOMs understand that plans change. If you register early, you should be able to register for the classes you want. I would also confirm with the counselor that you will be able to get your degree with the courses you are taking. You don't want to be missing a requirement.

no. mine differed a bit due to classes not being offered and conflicts. you might need to explain yourself but you should be fine
