Hi All,

I am planning on taking MCATs June 13th this year and was wondering if I can submit my application June 1st still. Will it help me at all submitting early without my MCATs? Or should I just take the time to keep working on my personal statement.

If you can, submit June 1st. There is no harm in submitting without the MCAT. Also you will be processed through earlier (processing can take a long time depending on when you apply, up to 1-2 months). I waited to submit my application until I had my score last round and suffered because of it.

Submit prior to MCAT. Submit ASAP.

Just make sure you have a solid Personal statement

What about if I'm taking summer school session 1 and want those class grades added in my application? If I turn in by July 15th, is that still an early application?

For MD, June-July is early. Aug-Sept is on time (except for maybe for Early Decision). Oct-Dec is late since those are the deadlines.
For DO, June-Sept are still early. Oct-Dec is on time. Dec-Jan/Feb is late since those are the deadlines.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Definitely apply early. Your application will take time to be reviewed. You can always a your MCAT later.

I think for DO, June-August are still early. Sept-October are still ok. Novem-Feb is late...
