When should I submit my application?

I have a lower sgpa (3.19) and a 21 on the DAT. I have good ECs and 100+ hours of shadowing. I am signed up to go on a week long dental trip to Honduras the 1st week of August. I am afraid that if i submit my application in june and update it in august schools will have already passed on me. Should i wait till i have finished my dental trip to submit my application?

You should submit your application as soon as possible. I believe you can put like future dates on the application with an estimation of how many hours you do. If not then you can individually email each school with the updates. Don't wait until august to submit your application.

You can continually update your AADSAS application, but you wont be able to include your trip as one of your top 6 extracurriculars if they don't allow you do put in future activities.
