When should i take DAT?

I know this is stupid question.
I know i have to take it when i am ready.. but still
just in case i do not score high enough..


i have not taken DAT yet and my gpa is little below average
so i would like to score as much as possible, and am trying to submit application by early June.

i have been studying and i am keep studying everyday but i guess signing up for DAT will give me more motivation for studying.

should i take on one April or may?
it i take one on april, i can retake after 2 months, which is still june.

if i take one on may, if i decide to retake, it will be july.. which will be late for early batch right?


any advices will be greatly appreciated!

I'm in the same boat. I'm going to sign up for mid April (to put some fire under my a**), and if i don't feel comfortable, I'm going to push it back to May. To answer your question, I'm going to take it and try to do my absolute best so I won't have to retake. I'm banking on not retaking, so my eggs are in the basket for this round for early application

if you want to submit your application in early June, then take the test in April, at least you'll give yourself time (3 months required for retake) and take it again in June/July.....all that assuming that you wouldn't do well the first time around. Good luck
