Hello!
I'm currently a junior, and since I'm at home this year due to the pandemic and I'll have finished my prereqs by this summer, I thought it'd be the perfect time to take the MCAT. However, I would like to take two gap years to include my first gap year experience on my application. I am unsure about taking the MCAT next summer because I'm not sure when my gap year experience would begin and like I said before, this summer presents a good opportunity to study and do well on the exam (hopefully). Should I take it this summer, or wait until next summer so my score stays valid in case I need to apply again?
TLDR: If I take the MCAT summer 2021, will it be valid for matriculation in fall 2024? Or should I take the MCAT later/apply earlier and defer if I get in?
