When should I take the DAT?

couple of quick questions

1. When should I take DAT Junior or Senior year?

2. What time of the year is best? (Month?)

3. Once I have taken the DAT when should I apply to dental school?

it depends.. do u wanna go to dental school straight from undergrad, or do u wanna take a year or so off?

if you wanna go straight from college, i would take the dat june-aug after your jr year. thats when u would need to submit your application too.

if you plan to take time off after graduation, i would take it in the summer after you graduate and again apply at the same time.

i know some schools send out invitations for interviews in sept. and have interviews oct-dec so i think taking it your senior year might be a little late if you plan on starting dental school after grad.

Yes, thank you. I plan on apply right after earning my bachelors, so that means I should just make sure that I have taken all the pre-dental/pre-med Science courses by the end of my junior year?

take it when u r ready.. u dont wanna mess it up.... i would also think its best to take it b/4 you apply for school.
