I have taken chem 101, 102, bio 101, trig. I will be taking precalculus, Orgo I, and Bio 102 this fall. Should i go ahead and take the 2011 january PCAT? I want to apply for fall 2012 cycle(class of 2016) in september 2011. I think most schools deadlines are in january, february, or even march prior to enrolling at pharmacy school.
Some people told me I should take it in June 2011 because I would have finished taking Orgo II, A&P I, Microbio, and calculus I (spring 2011)

what do you think?

I'd recommend June 2011 because by then, you will have covered most of materials for the PCAT. For me, Orgo II was all mechanisms, and that helped on the related questions on the PCAT. As of Orgo I material, nomenclature is sufficient. You'll need to know how to do derivatives, generally speaking, so taking calc I will be beneficial. When I took the PCAT, there was maybe one or two questions pertinent to A&P and microbio each.

Take the June PCAT. There will be Orgo 2 and Calc 1 on the exam. The June PCAT will be perfect for you because you will have all the necessary material for the PCAT completed and most fresh in your mind. Save your money and prepare for the exam by studying what you have already learned or are in the process of learning. Good luck!
