When should LOR be requested from Referees?

Hello,

I realize the application for this cycle opens on May 14th however when should I send out the links to my referees to have the letters updated? I was just wondering how long we have to wait until the letters can be submitted as it is nearing summer and many people may go on vacation thus become unavailable.

You should be able to have them sent when the application opens, you just won't be able to submit until June 4th this year.
